Chronographs
A chronograph is a particular type of watch that is used as a stopwatch combined with a conventional display using regular watch hands. Our chronographs can be started, stopped, and returned to zero by successive pressure on the various pushers and measure seconds, minutes, hours etc.
Chronographs are very popular with pilots because they enable them to make rapid calculations and conduct precise timing. The demand for chronographs grew along with the aviation industry in the early part of the 20th century.
As different uses for chronograph's arose over the course of the 20th century new features were developed such as'flyback' (where the second hand could be rapidly reset to zero), minute and hour timers, and waterproof models for divers and swimmers. All of our analogue models have flyback and are water resistant to 100m / 330ft / 10 ATM.
